An extension project to the 'Assessment Designer' - an online tool I re-developed for Exeter University, the Techtrump Browser is a simple, student-oriented mobile web application that helps users compare and contrast different online tools in order to give them concise information on which technologies may be right for them in a specific learning context.
The application was required to work across desktop, mobile and large-scale touch-table devices, using only web-standards technologies and to be clear and simple in its design. The application also reports back extensive analytics to better aid the university in understanding its effectiveness and targeting it more efficiently at student groups that can benefit from it. To better deliver relevant information as the project evolves, user-feedback and ratings suggestions via a feedback window is also integrated into the app.
The project was delivered on-time and on-budget.
