I was contracted to consult on - and subsequently re-develop - the 'Collaborate' team's prototype of a new Assessment Designer tool - an aid for helping educators to analyse and design their assessments with the goal of increasing undergraduate's confidence and skill when entering the workplace after graduation.
Educators are also presented with relevant technologies that they could use to help increase the value of their assessments, based on the results of their designs.
The client asked for an updatable, responsive, touch-friendly update that significantly enhanced the value of the prototype, where end-users can save and share their designs, allowing other users to work with their data whether on desktop or tablet.
They were after a simple, no-frills interface that presented the content first. This was delivered on-time and on-budget, exceeding client expectations and requested deliverables.
